Joseph William Johnson and Chea Paratene Charles Brattle-Hemara Haeana are on trial for the murder of Palmiro MacDonald. A violent drug-fuelled gang member who indiscriminately stole property in standovers would never have willingly and calmly sat in a car with one of the men accused of murdering him, a court has heard.
